Lead rope for gillnet fishing is available with integrated lead randing from 10 kg of sink (18mm) down to 1,4 kg of sink (6mm), offering different levels of sinking performance depending on the fishing method and requirements.
Sustainability
Our gillnet customers who do not clean their used nets themselves, can send them to ASVO for cleaning and processing. Everything is reused or sent for recycling. Used gillnets are cleaned at ASVO, used yarn linen is recycled, lead from spent lead ropes is collected in a container for reuse, and used fellings are sent from ASVO to the sewing room at Flatraket for assembly of new gillnet buses. We have a very good and long-standing collaboration with ASVO and Retura on reuse and recycling.
